It's only a few days away until it's 2009! For some its a yeah so what thing, but for others, they turn in their resoution and how far can they get? ( vote on our poll how far can you get )
Many many MANY people make resolutions, but do they even follow it?
Most people say, I plan to lose this many pounds by this time. How many people actually reach their goal? My guess, less than 25%
Trust me, resolutions only work when you actually care for what you're trying to do.
Anyways, some people plan to "renew" themselves. for example, new hair. whether it's cutting it sshort, extending, or changing your hair color/style. What are you going to do?
Okay, well, if some of you believe in those superstisious stuffs then listen up!
They say that if you put money in every window ( doesn't matter if it's pennies or dollars or whatever kind of U.S. or whatever currency you have ) you will have good luck finacially throught the year! I don't know about you guys, but I think I'll do that again. I did that last time and it worked pretty well!
Another one is trimming or cutting your hair. They say that if you cut your hair or even just trim it before the New Year starts, you will have good luck throught the year. Now this I have tried and it did brougt me luck through out this year, but not everytime. Still, it's worth a shot right? ou don't ave to have a totally new cut or 'do; a trim will work fine, I guess, 'cause that's what I did.
And the last one I did was putting fruits at the table. Before the New Year, they say that if you put fruits on your table in a bowl, you will be blessed with health/food through out the year. This I've tried. And I'm not really sure if it worked, but well, I don't know. Again, it's worth a shot!
If you have any other superstition about New Years, feel free to share it!
If you don't believe in these stuff, then don't even try them. Don't bother. No one is making you.
Later!
;)
